Happity is the UK's best-loved website for baby & toddler classes. We're looking for a Customer Sales Assistant to join our Marketing Team for 4 months initially - and possibly beyond.

We are a small team on a mission to make sure no new parent feels alone, and we are proud of our achievements with our products. We've seen huge growth in the last 2 years, with up to 350k unique users to our website each month, ~115k parents subscribed to our mailing list, and over 5.5k class providers listing their classes.

We trust our team to work remotely, taking responsibility for their own working practices that will help them deliver their best work.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

The role would primarily involve speaking to providers over Google Meets to help onboard them to our system. These wouldn’t be cold calls, but there would be an element of selling, so you’d need to be comfortable with this.

We're an agile team and strive to offer an excellent service as well as a product that wows our class providers and parents. Quality of delivery is at the heart of what we do.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successfully onboarding providers to our system
  • Sharing the benefits of Happity Membership to our providers
  • Successfully converting providers to Membership.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Previous experience in sales
  • A warm and welcoming nature and is keen to help
  • Common sense, a positive can-do attitude and the ability to think through problems and arrive at pragmatic solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and is a team player

IT WOULD BE A EXTRA BONUS IF YOU:

  • Have experience in working on consumer-facing web applications
  • Have knowledge of the baby & toddler class market

HOURS & COMPENSATION

Hours: This is initially a part-time, 4-month contract role. It requires c10 hours per week with the potential for additional hours when required by the business - the majority of the team work part-time as standard.

You should be available to work on weekday afternoons (12-4pm ish) primarily.

Pay: £12 per hour + commission
